"E Scooter" sounds like an odd term at first, but
it's easily understood. In fact, you might have
figured it out already, you smarty pants you, due
to the fact that so many words are prefixed by an
"E" these days. Like E-mail.
Instead of "electronic," the E in E Scooter stands
for "electric." And as such, provides a very
accurate description of its subject. Electric
scooters are becoming more and more popular as
people discover just how much fun they can be.
Motorized scooters are an interesting alternative
for transportation, to say the least. First of
all, they are very environmentally friendly, due
to the absence of fossil fuels as a means of
power. The batteries recharge in a commonly-found
100-volt wall socket in about eight hours, all for
the fraction of the price of a gallon of gas.
Once properly charged, a scooter can cart you
around for a while at speeds up to thirty miles
per hour. Many of them even fold up for incredibly
easy storage. Best of all, you get to feel the
wind on your face as you go on your way.
